ITINERARY

Day 1 - London - Hong Kong - Taipei

Overnight flight

Day 2 - Taipei (No Meals)

Upon arrival at Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), you will be met and transferred to your accommodation hotel by private car.

Day 3 - Taipei (B)

After breakfast, we will take a tour of Taipei city includes the impressive Chiang Kai‐Shek Memorial Hall, National Palace Museum where 5,000 years of Chinese imperial arts and jade collections are exhibited, Martyrs’ Shrine of traditional architecture and change of Honor Guards, a local Taiwanese temple, and Taipei Handicraft Centre. Rest of the day will be free on your own.

Day 4 - Taipei – Sun Moon Lake + Natural Hot Spring (B)

Today, we will drive to Sun Moon Lake which is located in the middle of Taiwan and situated 762 meters.

Above sea level in the lofty mountains of Central Taiwan. Tour will stop at the famous Wenwu Temple, also known as Literature‐Warrior Temple, dedicated to Confucius as Master of Pen and to Kuan Ti as Master of Sword, Holy Monk Shrine, and Ci En Pagoda. After touring around Sun Moon Lake, check in hotel.  Enjoy natural hot spring at the Fleur de Chine Hotel, Sun Moon Lake. You can also enjoy the walking trails, biking, hiking or boating at the lake.

Day 5 - Sun Moon Lake – Kaohsiung (B)

Check out hotel, passing by the lovely small and old Jiji Railway Station, drive to Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Monastery, the most famous Buddhist sacred place of southern Taiwan. Here you will learn about Buddhism during the monastery walking tour to visit “Buddha Memorial Center” and communicate with Some of the monks or nuns during the visit, there will be the opportunity to taste Buddhist vegetarian lunch (At your own cost). Continuously, we will drive to Kaohsiung which is the second largest city in Taiwan.The tour will take you to Love River and Liuhe Night Market.

Day 6 -  Kaohsiung – Taitung (B)

Morning tour to Kenting National Park, located at Taiwan’s southern tip and the 37 miles of coral‐rimmed Shoreline along three sides of the park provides its main attractions. Stops will be made at Eluanbi light House, Maobitou coastal scenic area and Longpan Park. Continuously we will drive to Taitung via Southern Link Highway.

Day 7 - Taitung – Taroko National Park (B)

After breakfast, it will be an exciting East Coast Tour. The East Coast National Scenic Area, known as "Taiwan's last unspoiled land", stretches 170 kilometers down the east coast of the island. Weathering, Erosion, and accumulation have produced a wide range of landforms here. Our tour will stop at Xiaoyeliu, Sanxiantai, Shitiping (Stone Steps), marble factory and showroom. Late afternoon, we will proceed to Hualien.

Day 8- Taroko National Park – Taipei (B)

After breakfast, we will make a visit to Taroko National Park. Taroko Gorge is an exceptionally beautiful, Narrow raving created by the Liwu River which has cut deep into the mountains of solid marble. A road Carved into sheer walls of rock rewinding its way past forested peaks and cliffs towering thousands of feet above it, while hundreds of feet below a river roar past gigantic marble boulders. Passing by Tunnel Of Nine Turns, Ci Mu Bridge stops will be made at Swallow Grotto, and Changchun Temple (Eternal Spring Shrine). We will then drive back to Taipei with a stop at Cingshui Cliff, drive through Syue‐Shan Long Tunnel (12.9 Km) to arrive at around 6 PM.

Day 9- Taipei – Hong Kong- Macau (B)

At leisure until check out and you will be transferred to the airport. Upon arrival at HK International Airport, take the direct ferry to Macau. Meet & greet by your local representative and transfer to hotel. Rest of the Day at leisure.

Day 10- Macau (B, L)

Macau, a Portuguese colony until December 1999, lies some 60 kilometers west of Hong Kong across the Pearl River estuary, is the oldest European settlement in the Far East dating back to 1557. More than 400 years of intermingling between Chinese and European cultures has given rise to a Macanese culture uniquely of its own. Today, we will bring to you the World Heritage sites including the Ruins of the St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Section of the Old City Walls, Temple of A‐Ma, etc. Then proceed to the Museum of Macau (closed on Monday) and Macau Tower which offers magnificent panoramic views all over Macau and much of the Pearl River Delta from its observation deck Try your luck at the gambling table of the world-famous casino (minimum age 21) in Macau before the tour ends. Lunch included at a local restaurant. Tour ends at the pier and takes hotel free shuttle bus to the hotel on own.

Day 11-  Macau – Hong Kong (B)

Transfer to the pier on own by hotel free shuttle. Take the direct ferry to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, meet & greet by your local representative and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 12-  Hong Kong (B)

Whether you are visiting Hong Kong for the first time or returning after a long absence, this seat‐in coach Tour will provide you with a good orientation of Hong Kong Island. The tour circles the beautiful Island with stops at Stanley Market, where you can stroll through Stanley’s famous seaside village bazaar, And Aberdeen Fishing Village, home of “Boat People” whose lifestyle has not changed much since the early days of their settlement in Hong Kong. (An optional sampan ride is also available at your own expense.) En route, you will be able to view the most popular beach in town, the Repulse Bay Beach, and pay a visit to an exquisite jewellery factory where the world’s famous jewellery‐setting art is made. You will finish your tour of Hong Kong Island with the panoramic ride that brings you up to the Victoria Peak, where the harbor and the city sprawl in front of you. Afternoon free at leisure.

Day 13 - Hong Kong (B, L)

Today, discover a pristine beach, a traditional fishing village, lush valleys, soaring mountains and spiritual enlightenment on Hong Kong’s largest island. Tour begins with a ferry ride through the Victoria Harbour to Silvermine Bay, Lantau. Then board a coach to the beautiful Cheung Sha Beach and on to the unique Tai O fishing village, where many homes are built on stilts. The coach then takes a winding road up the mountain to Ngong Ping Plateau where the Giant Buddha sits majestically close to the Po Lin Monastery.

After the tour the Giant Buddha Exhibition Hall and the Po Lin Monastery, a vegetarian meal is served in the Monastery followed by visits to the culturally themed Ngong Ping Village. Tour ends with a spectacular ride aboard the Ngong Ping cable car offering stunning views going down to Tung Chung near the airport.

Day 14- Departure Hong Kong (B)

At leisure until check out and you will be transferred to airport for return flight to the UK
