ITINERARY
Day 1 LONDON - NAIROBI
Depart from London to Nairobi Arrival in late evening.
Overnight in Nairobi
Day 2 Nairobi to Lake Naivasha via Thika (Approx. 3.5 hours by road) (B, L, D)
Our journey begins in Kenya's vibrant capital, Nairobi. After breakfast, drive north to Thika, the region known for its lush tea and coffee plantations. We enjoy a guided visit to one of the estates, where we will learn about the cultivation and processing of Kenya’s renowned teas and coffees. Stroll through the verdant plantations and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee or tea amidst the tranquil fields.
We then continue our scenic drive northwest through the Great Rift Valley, passing dramatic escarpments, volcanic formations, and rich highland farmland. Upon arrival at Lake Naivasha, check in at the hotel.
Spend the afternoon at leisure by the lakeside. Optional activities include a boat ride to spot hippos and a variety of bird species or simply unwind at the lodge while soaking in the natural beauty.

Day 3 Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara (Approx. 5–6 hours by road) (B, L, D)
This morning after breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and journey southwest toward the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve. The route winds through lush farmlands, rolling hills, and Maasai villages.
Arrive at Mara Simba Lodge in time for lunch, followed by check-in and some time to relax before your first afternoon game drive in the Maasai Mara.
In the late afternoon, embark on an exciting game drive, exploring the vast plains in search of lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos—the famous Big Five. Depending on the season, you may witness part of the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River in search of greener pastures. The reserve is also home to cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and an incredible variety of birdlife.
Return to the lodge in the early evening for dinner, then unwind while enjoying the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 4 Safari in Maasai Mara (B, L, D)
Begin the day with an early morning game drive, the best time to witness predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs as they hunt in the cool morning air. The sunrise over the Mara creates a breathtaking backdrop as the plains come to life with grazing herbivores and bird calls. Instead of returning to the lodge for lunch, enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the Maasai Mara. This allows for an extended exploration of the reserve, increasing the chances of spotting rare wildlife, including black rhinos, elephants, and elusive leopards.
In the afternoon, continue the game drive towards the Mara River, where we might witness crocodiles and hippos basking in the sun. If traveling during the Great Migration, watch as massive herds of wildebeest and zebras attempt the dramatic river crossing.
Return to lodge in the evening to unwind before dinner.

DAY 5 Maasai Mara to Eldoret (Approx. 6–7 hours by road) (B, L, D)
After breakfast, bid farewell to the savannah and begin the journey northwest through Kenya's agricultural heartland. You'll pass through scenic tea plantations and small towns like Kericho, known for its lush, rolling fields. Break the trip with a stop for lunch en route before arriving in the bustling highland town of Eldoret. Known for producing world-class athletes and vibrant markets, Eldoret offers a cool climate and cultural diversity.

Day 6 Eldoret to Mbale, Uganda (Approx. 4–5 hours by road including border crossing) (B, L, D)
After breakfast, continue westward toward the Kenya-Uganda border at Malaba. After completing immigration and customs procedures, we will cross into Uganda, traveling through verdant countryside, banana plantations, and traditional homesteads.
Arrive in Mbale in the early afternoon and check in at our hotel. After lunch, spend the rest of the day at leisure—relax at the hotel, take a stroll through town, or explore the surrounding landscapes. Mbale is known for its beautiful scenery, including Mount Elgon National Park and the famous Sipi Falls, which can be visited if time permits.
Enjoy dinner at the hotel and unwind for the night.

Day 7 Mbale to Jinja (Approx. 3 hours by road) (B, L, D)
After breakfast, at the hotel, depart Mbale and drive towards Jinja, a historic town located on the shores of Lake Victoria, famous as the source of the Nile River. The journey offers breathtaking views of rolling hills, lush greenery, and vibrant rural life, with opportunities to spot local farmers tending to their fields and roadside vendors selling fresh produce.
Arrive in Jinja by midday and check in at our hotel before heading out for an exciting exploration of the area. Begin with a boat ride to the exact source of the Nile, where the mighty river begins its long journey to the Mediterranean. As we glide along the calm waters, enjoy sightings of colourful.
Later, optionally visit the spectacular Itanda Falls, a series of powerful rapids along the Nile. Known for their dramatic cascades and thunderous roar, these falls are a hidden gem and a favorite spot for white-water rafters. Spend time enjoying the stunning views, taking photos, and learning about the river’s significance to local communities.
Check into our hotel in the late afternoon for dinner and relaxation, with the evening at leisure.
Overnight in Jinja.
Day 8 Jinja to Kampala (Approx. 2.5 hours by road) (B, L, D)
This morning after breakfast, depart for Uganda’s capital city, Kampala. The drive takes us past Mabira Forest and sugarcane fields.
Arriving in Kampala, check in at our hotel and unwind after our journey. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure—relax at the hotel or explore some of the city's highlights, such as the Uganda National Mosque, the Independence Monument, or the bustling Nakasero Market, known for its colourful displays of fresh produce and spices.

Day 9 Kampala to Dar es Salaam (Flight) (B, L, D)
At the given time transfer to Entebbe International Airport for our morning flight to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s coastal metropolis. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s largest city and a vibrant coastal hub, we will be met and transferred to or resort. Check in and spend the afternoon at leisure—relax by the beach, take a dip in the pool, or explore the resort’s beautiful oceanfront setting.

Day 10 Full Day in Dar es Salaam (B, L, D)
In the morning After breakfast at the Hotel, we embark on a guided exploration of Dar es Salaam, a dynamic coastal city blending Swahili, Arab, and colonial influences.
We start our day at the National Museum, home to fascinating exhibits on Tanzania’s cultural heritage, ancient fossils, and artifacts from the country’s colonial past. Learn about the history of early human civilizations and the influence of various trade routes that shaped the region.
Next, visit the Kivukoni Fish Market, one of the liveliest spots in the city. Watch local fishermen unload their fresh catch, while vendors skillfully prepare and sell a wide variety of seafood. The market provides an authentic glimpse into daily life in Dar es Salaam. In the late afternoon, return to Resort to unwind. Enjoy the resort’s beachfront setting, take a swim in the pool, or indulge in a spa treatment. The evening is at leisure, with dinner served at the resort’s restaurant.

Day 11 Dar es Salaam to Moshi (Approx. 9 hours by road) (B,L, D)
After breakfast, depart by road for Moshi, a bustling town located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. The drive takes us through the scenic northern Tanzanian countryside. Along the way, enjoy views of rolling hills, Maasai homesteads, and – on clear days – the majestic silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Upon arrival in Moshi, check in to our hotel and relax in the cool mountain air.
Arrive in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro in the evening at our lodge for rest.

Day 12 Moshi to Ngorongoro (Approx. 4 hours by road) (B, L, D)
Depart after breakfast for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Travel west through scenic landscapes, lush coffee plantations, and Maasai communities as we ascend into the highlands.
On arrival, check in at our lodge and enjoy lunch with stunning views of the crater. The afternoon is at leisure—relax at the lodge or take an optional guided crater rim walk, offering spectacular vistas and a chance to spot wildlife such as buffalo, elephants, and an array of bird species.

Day 13 Full Day at Ngorongoro Crater (B, L, D)
This morning after an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s largest unbroken calderas. Enjoy a full-day game drive across the crater floor, home to a dense population of wildlife including rhinos, lions, elephants, and flamingos. Stop for a picnic lunch beside a hippo pool before continuing our exploration. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon.

Day 14 Ngorongoro to Arusha (Approx. 3.5–4 hours by road) (B, L, D)
Depart Ngorongoro after breakfast and head east toward Arusha. Along the way, enjoy views of volcanic landscapes and rural farming communities. On arrival, check in at hotel, a tranquil retreat set within a lush coffee plantation. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure—relax on your private veranda with a fresh cup of Tanzanian coffee, explore the estate on an optional guided tour, or indulge in a spa treatment.
Later, savour a delicious dinner at the lodge’s restaurant before settling in for the night Overnight in Arusha.
Day 15 ARUSHA TO AMBOSELI (APPROX. 3–4 HOURS BY ROAD INCLUDING BORDER CROSSING) (B, L, D)
After breakfast, travel to the Kenya-Tanzania border at Namanga. After clearing immigration, continue into Kenya to Amboseli National Park. On arrival in Amboseli, check in at lodge, a beautifully designed lodge offering panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After settling in, embark on an evening game drive, when wildlife activity peaks. Spot elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras, and giraffes against the golden hues of sunset, creating ideal conditions for photography.
Return to the lodge in time for a delicious dinner, featuring expertly prepared local and international cuisine. Afterward, relax by the campfire, listening to Maasai stories or simply soaking in the tranquil wilderness.

Day 16 Full Day in Amboseli (B, L, D)
Wake up to the mesmerizing sight of Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak glowing in the early morning light. After an early breakfast at Lodge, embark on an exciting morning game drive through Amboseli National Park, renowned for its vast elephant herds and stunning landscapes.
As we traverse the park’s open plains and marshlands, we will have the opportunity to observe large elephant families, often seen moving in single-file against the breathtaking backdrop of Kilimanjaro. Keep our cameras ready for sightings of lions, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and buffaloes. Bird enthusiasts will also delight in spotting a variety of species, including flamingos, pelicans, and raptors.
Return to the lodge for a leisurely lunch and some relaxation. We can take a refreshing dip in the pool, enjoy a siesta in your room, or soak in the spectacular views from the lodge’s terrace.
In the afternoon, set out on another game drive as the temperatures cool, increasing wildlife activity. We might witness predators like lions or hyenas on the hunt or catch a glimpse of hippos emerging from the swamps. The golden hues of the African sunset provide the perfect ending to our safari experience.
Return to our Lodge in the evening for a sumptuous dinner, followed by storytelling around the campfire or stargazing under the clear Amboseli skies.

Day 17 Amboseli to Mombasa (Approx. 6–7 hours by road) (B, L, D)
Depart early for the coastal city of Mombasa. We will travel by road.
On arrival, we will check in in 0our beachfront resort. Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the Indian Ocean, enjoying the pristine white sandy beaches and the resort’s world-class amenities.

Day 18 Beach Leisure in Mombasa (ALL INCLUSIVE)
Wake up to the gentle sound of ocean waves and enjoy a lavish breakfast with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. The soft, powdery sands of Diani Beach stretch endlessly before you, inviting you to unwind in paradise. Spend the morning basking under the warm tropical sun, feeling the gentle sea breeze, and taking a dip in the crystal-clear turquoise waters. One of the highlights of Diani is its proximity to Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park, a protected area known for its rich biodiversity, coral reefs, and thriving marine ecosystem. Opt for a snorkeling or scuba diving adventure, where you might spot dolphins, sea turtles, and schools of colorful fish swimming through the reefs. Our final full day in Mombasa is dedicated to relaxation and making the most of your time by the coast. After a leisurely breakfast, choose to spend the morning lounging by the infinity pool with a refreshing cocktail, taking in the serene atmosphere and swaying palm trees.
For those who love the ocean, enjoy another swim in the warm waters of Diani Beach or take a kayak or paddleboard to explore the coastline from a different perspective. The soft sands of the beach provide a perfect setting for a peaceful walk or a morning yoga session, allowing you to unwind completely.
If you’re in the mood for a pampering session, book a luxurious spa treatment, such as an African-inspired massage or a rejuvenating sea-salt body scrub, leaving you feeling refreshed and renewed.
As the day winds down, take in the breathtaking sunset over the Indian Ocean, with its deep orange and pink hues creating a magical atmosphere. Day 21 Transfer to Moi International Airport (B, L)
After breakfast, take in the last serene moments by the beach, whether it’s a relaxing stroll along the pristine shoreline, a refreshing dip in the Indian Ocean, or simply enjoying a cup of Swahili coffee while admiring the coastal views.
Later , check out and transfer to Moi International Airport, where we will board our flight to Nairobi and then change to an international flight back to UK.
