ITINERARY

DAY 1 : LONDON – CASABLANCA (D)

Arrival at Casablanca’s airport, transfert to the hôtel, diner and overnight at Casablanca.

Day 2 : CASABLANCA – RABAT – MEKNES – FES (B, D)

After breakfast, visit of the economical capital Casablanca, starting by the Hassane II Mosque from exterior, the habous and the beautiful corniche of Ain Diab, departure to Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco, visit of Kasbah Oudaya, Tour Hassan and Mausoleum Mohamed V, and the exterior of the King Palace, then drive to the old imperial city Meknes, sightseeing, visit of Bab Mansour, the mausoleum of Sultan Moulay Ismaïl, then departure to see the old archeologique site of Volubilis, Volubilis is the remnant of a Roman city built on the former site of a Punic-Berber town, which was capital of the kingdom of Mauritania, located on the Volubilis plateau in the Saïss plain in northern Morocco, on the banks of Oued Rhoumane, a river in the suburbs of Meknes, not far from the town of Moulay Driss Zerhoun. Then drive to Fes, Diner and accommodation in Fes.

Day 3 : FES (B, D)

The whole day will be devoted to visiting Fez, which was founded in the 8th century by Sultan Moulay Idriss and has been the capital of the kingdom for several dynasties. Visit the medina starting with Bab Boujeloud, the Karaouine Mosque, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum (from exterior), Medersa Attarine and the Souks. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Fes.

Day 4 : FES – IFRANE – AZROU - MERZOUGA (B, D)

Early in the morning, departure to Merzouga via Ifrane and Azrou, the most beautiful cedar grove in Morocco, pause in the small town of Ifrane, situated in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco. It is renowned for its Alpine-style architecture, continuation to Merzouga through the Atlas Mountains via Midelt. Dinner and overnight in Merzouga.

Day 5 : MERZOUGA – TINGHIR - OUARZAZAT (B, D)

After breakfast, departure to Ouarzazat, passing through the Erfoud oasis and discovering the natural fossils engraved on the rocks, then departure via Tinghir and the Todra gorges in the middle of the mountains, continuation to Ouarzazat, dinner and accommodation in Ouarzazat.

Day 6 : OUARZAZAT – TIZI N’TICHKA - MARRAKECH (B, D)

After breakfast, visit the town of Ouarzazat, the most attractive town in southern Morocco, right in the middle of the High Atlas mountains, visit the Kasbah Taourirt (exterior) built in the 19th century, visit the cinema museum (optional), departure for Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, earthen buildings surrounded by walls, continuation to Marrakech via the Tizi n'Tichka, dinner and accommodation in Marrakech.

Day 7 : MARRAKECH (B, D)

After breakfast, city tour of Marrakech, the famous imperial city, built in the 11th century by Sultan Youssef Ben Tachefine and which was the capital of the kingdom for several dynasties, visit to the Bahia Palace and Saiidin Tombs, followed by a visit to the sumptuous Jamaa Elfna Square, the Elkoutoubia Mosque and the Menara Gardens. Dinner and overnight in Marrakech.

Day 8 : MARRAKECH – CASABLANCA (B, D)

Free morning in Marrakech, then departure for Casablanca, dinner and accommodation in Casablanca.

Day 9 : CASABLANCA (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Casablanca airport.
