ITINERARY

Day 1: LONDON HEATHROW

Depart from London Heathrow on the flight to Delhi.

Day 2: Arrive Delhi

On arrival in Delhi meet and greet by our representative in Indian traditional with garlanding and escorted to Hotel.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3: Delhi

After morning breakfast Proceed for a City tour of Old and New Delhi, Old Delhi – Drive past the magnificent Red Fort (closed on Mondays) and Aksahrdham temple. Drive past Kotla Firoze Shah, ruins of an old fort of the 14th century. Visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Drive through the old city subject to traffic restrictions, New Delhi - Drive past the Presidential Palace, the Rashtrapati, the impressive Rajpath to the World War I memorial arch, the India Gate. Visit the Qutub Minar, the 72 meter high Minaret.

Day 4: DELHI /JHANSI / KHAJURAHO

Packed breakfast will be provided. Transfer to H Nizamuddin Railway Station 08:10 hrs: 12050 Gatiman Express to Jhansi, Jhansi 12:35 hrs: Arrive Jhansi Railway Station and directly proceed to Orchha (13.5 Kms / Approx. 30 minutes)
En-route visit Orchha Fort. As there are many temples within the fort, three are especially worth visiting. Visit to Ram Raja, Chaturbhuj and Lakshmi Narayan Temple Lunch at Orchha on direct own expense.
Later, continue drive to Khajuraho (182 Kms / Approx. 3 hrs 30 mins) Evening: Arrive Khajuraho and check in at the hotel.
Overnight: Stay at hotel.

Day 5: KHAJURAHO

Today, after breakfast go for sightseeing of beautiful temples and sculpture of Khajuraho. Visit the Tantric and Jain Temples. The erotic and intricately carved poses of the Khajuraho temples leave you to dumbfound and amazed. Evening enjoys the Sound and light show.

Day 6: KHAJURAHO / JHANSI / AGRA

Drive to Jhansi (180 Kms / Approx. 5 hrs)Jhansi. Arrive Jhansi and transfer to railway station 15:05 hrs 12049 Gatimaan Express to Agra Cantt A 17:40 hrs Arrive Agra Cantt Railway Station and transferred to your hotel for check in.

Day 7: Agra

Early Morning visit Taj Mahal the most beautiful symbol of love, the Taj Mahal by the Sun Rise you can see the glow of Taj Mahal in the changing light of rising Sun. The Greatest love Story ever told! On the death of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, Shahjehan built her this memorial. It took 22 years to build this monument after the visit, return to hotel for breakfast and continue the guided sightseeing tour of Agra. .Visit Agra Fort behind its forbidding red sandstone battlements lie palace that tell the story of the Moghul Empire. Visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah: Often referred to as the "Baby Taj Mahal", the tomb of Itimad-ud-daulah is a Mughal mausoleum and often regarded as a copy of the Taj Mahal. Akbar tomb’s at Sikandara: The final resting place of Mughal Emperor Akbar, Akbar's Tomb is situated in Sikandra, the outskirts of Agra and spreads over an area of 119 acres. Following sightseeing tour, transfer to the hotel.

Day 8: AGRA / JAIPUR

The morning after breakfast Check out from the hotel Depart by road to Jaipur (232 Kms / Approx. 6 hrs.)
En route visit Fatehpur Sikri - 37 kms west of Agra lies the ghostcity of Fatehpur Sikri - an epic poem in red sandstone, built by Emperor Akbar the Great in 1569 and deserted 14 years later because its water supply failed.

Day 9: JAIPUR

Today, after breakfast go for sightseeing half day excursion to Amber Fort – 7 miles north of Jaipur is Amber with it’s a honey- coloured fortress-palace in the Aravalli Hills which can be mounted by elephant. It has been described as “the sleeping beauty of Rajasthan” Afternoon City tour of Jaipur –Photo stop at ‘Hawa Mahal’ (Palace of Winds) Visit - Jai Singh’s Observatory built in the 17th century by the founder of Jaipur who, besides being a prince was also soldier, astronomer and builder. Visit- City Palace, a part is now a museum that contains fine Rajput and Moghul paintings, rare manuscripts and an armoury, old carpets, and even amazingly embroidered clothes of the Maharajas and the Maharanis.

Day 10 - JAIPUR / VARANASI (BY FLIGHT)

The morning after breakfast morning at leisure. Late morning check out from the hotels and transfer to the airport to catch the flight to Varanasi. On arrival meet and greet by our representative escorted to the hotels. Varanasi holy city and seems to be the oldest existing city in the world.

Day 11 - VARANASI

Boat ride on River Ganges by sunrise. Breakfast at hotel. Morning; Proceed for a city tour of Varanasi. You will see the Bharat Mata Temples, Emperor Aurangzeb’s Vishwanath Golden Temple. Varanasi Hindu University, a great seat of oriental learning visit Durga (Goddess of power) Temple.
Afternoon: Excursion to Sarnath. Sarnath is the site where The Buddha preached his first sermon in the Deer Park. The complex houses Dhamek Stupa, which marks the location of a monastery. Visit the archaeological museum situated close by. Evening: Witness the Aarti Ceremony at Varanasi Ghat Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 12 - VARANASI / DELHI DEPARTURE (BY FLIGHT)

Today check-out from the hotel and transfer to airport to board the flight for Delhi to connect flight for onward destination.
