ITINERARY

D1: UK – BEIJING

D2: ARRIVAL BEIJING

Arrival in Beijing, transfer to hotel by English speaking guide. Our guide will meet you at international arrival exit, and guide will be holding a sign with your name on it. Then transfer you to your hotel.
Overnight in Beijing.

D3: BEIJING (B/L/-)

Breakfast at hotel.
You will be met by your guide and driver at your hotel lobby before proceed to the Tian’anmen Square.
Start your Beijing tour with Tian’anmen Square, then you visit Imperial Ancestral Temple, Forbidden City.
Lunch at the local restaurant nearby the Forbidden City.
Then you will continue to Summer Palace- Driving time(40 minutes).
Summer Palace-Sightseeing.
Around 17:00 PM, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Overnight in Beijing.

D4: BEIJING (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel.
You will be met by your guide and driver at your hotel lobby before proceed to the Great Wall at Mutianyu (exclude cable car).
At 9:30 am, you will arrive at the Mutianyu Great Wall, then you can spend about 3 hours wandering around Mutianyu Great Wall. It is very exciting to take the cable car up and down (at your own cost). Enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant nearby Great Wall.
At 16:30 pm, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Overnight in Beijing.

D5: BEIJING - XI’AN (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning, you will visit Temple of Heaven and Teahouse.
Lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch, you will be transferred to train station with English speaking guide.
HIGH-SPEED TRAIN BEIJING – XI’AN (5.5 HRS).
Arrival in Xi’an, transfer to hotel by your local English speaking guide.
Overnight in Xi'an.

D6: XI’AN (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Pick up service by your tour guide and driver at 8:00 - 9:00 am.
Xi’an-Lintong Highway-Driving Time (1 hour)
You will visit Banpo Neolithic Village, Museum of Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses and Emperor Qinshihuang Mausoleum
Lunch at the local restaurant. ( 40 minutes )
After lunch, take a short visit to the Terra-Cotta Replication Factory on the way back to downtown.
Transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Xi'an.

D7: XI’AN - LHASA (B/-/-)

Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to airport to take your flight to Lhasa.
Arrival in Lhasa, transfer to hotel by your local guide.
Acclimatization to the altitude.
Overnight in Lhasa.

D8: LHASA (B/L/-)

Breakfast at hotel.
Today you will visit Potala Palace and Sera Monastery.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Overnight in Lhasa.

D9: LHASA (B/L/-)

Breakfast at hotel.
After breakfast, you will proceed to visit Monaster Jokhang and Barkhor, Norbulingkha.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Overnight in Lhasa.

D10: LHASA - TSEDANG - SAMYE - TSEDANG (165 KM, 3 HRS) (B/L/-)

Breakfast at hotel.
Today you will visit Samye Monastery, Yumbulakhang Palace. And you will be transferred to the hotel in Tsedang by your local guide.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Overnight in Tsdedang.

D11: TSEDANG - YAMDROK - GYANTSE (340 KM, 6 HRS) (B/L/-)

After Breakfast, you will be transferred to Gyanste (3.5 hr), pass by the famous Yamdrok Lake.
Visit Monastery Perkhor Chode.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Overnight in Gyantse.

D12: GYANTSE - SHIGATSE (90 KM, 1 ½ HRS) (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Shigatse and visit Monastery Tashilhumpo and local market in Shigatse.
Lunch at the local restaurant.
Overnight in Shigatse.

D13: SHIGATSE - LHASA (280 KM, 3 ½ HRS) (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive back to Lhasa and stop at a small village on the way and visit the Tibetan handmade incense mill and workshop.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Overnight in Lhasa.

D14: LHASA - SHANGHAI (B/-/-)

After Breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight to Shanghai.
Arrival in Shanghai, and transfer to hotel by your local guide.
Overnight in Shanghai.

D15: SHANGHAI (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Pick up service by your tour guide and driver at 7:30 am.
Your tour will start at Shanghai Old Street, Yu Garden, Yu Garden Typical Shanghai Tea House and stroll down the Bund.
Lunch at the local restaurant.
After lunch, tour highlights are Shanghai Museum, Featured Shopping at Pearl City, Shanghai typical alley at Tianzifang and Old French Concession stroll.
Transfer back to your hotel.
Overnight in Shanghai.

D16: DEPARTURE SHANGHAI (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel and you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
