Day 3: BUENOS AIRES / CITY TOUR / TANGO (B,D)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for a City Tour.
In the first part of this city tour, you will discover the heart of Buenos Aires: the Plaza de Mayo. Around it is the historic Cabildo (Town Hall) where the movement for independence from Spain was first planned; the Casa Rosada (Presidential Palace), and others old buildings. Near the Plaza are the theatre and commercial area. Then you will discover the Avenue 9 de Julio, one of the widest in the world.
You will also discover the main Avenues of Buenos Aires: Avenida Corrientes, known as the entertainment centre, a street of theatres and nightlife; Avenida Mayo, with a strong Spanish influence; the Florida Street, where you may enjoy a tango demonstration… Then you will visit the more typical neighbourhood of Buenos Aires.

San Telmo: White, low walls, bind-weeds climbing up old iron balconies and mossy tiles, are concealed in paved streets hardly hidden by the asphalt. Old street lamps enlighten Plaza Dorrego, where nights are animated.
La Boca: It is almost at the end of the city, leaning on the Riachuelo. Its landscape consists of houses made of corrugated plates, painted in bright colors. Caminito, the name of a tango, was composed after one of its immortal streets, and a famous artist, Benito Quinquela Martín, captured the neighbourhood in his paintings.
La Recoleta: Here one gets to know why Buenos Aires is considered the “Paris” of Latin America.
Exquisite and refined, this place offers a lot of monuments and museums, You will visit the Cemetery where Eva Paron is buried.
Dinner and Tango Show at a local Tango Restaurant.

Day 4: BUENOS AIRES / FLIGHT TO POSADAS / MISSION IN PARAGUAY (B)

Breakfast at the hotel .Transfer to Jorge Newbery Airport for your flight to Posadas. Posadas is the capital city of the Argentine province of Misiones, in its south, at the far north-east of the country on the left bank of the Paraná River, opposite Encarnación, Paraguay .Arrival and departure to visit the Jesuit Mission in Paraguay. Crossing the international Punte Roque Gonzalez de Santa Cruz we pass through the Paraguay city of Encarnacion. 28 km from there and along route 6, is the town of Trinidad Jesuit Mission, La Misión de la Santísima Is the best-preserved mission of Paraguay. Considered the largest of all missions, it was founded in 1712 by natives from the reduction of San Carlos.

The beauty and magnitude of their church stand out. It has a totally impressive altar carved in stone and precious items, such as the font, the pulpit and the porch of the sacristy. You can also visit the marvellous square, native houses and a museum placed in the old sacristy, where you also can see many sculptures of saints and angels, the model of the mission and remains that indicate the majesty of this reduction.

Day 5: POSADAS / SAN IGNACIO + SANTA ANA / IGUAZU (B)

Departure to visit the most famous Jesuit Missions in Argentina.
San Ignacio: it is the best-preserved reduction in Argentina. Its construction began in 1696, after having several temporary locations. It had up to 3.300 inhabitants, that used to work in agriculture, beekeeping, livestock, handicrafts, and trade, achieving a remarkable administrative efficiency. The cultivation of yerba mate was very important because thanks to its sale they could pay all the taxes to the king. Priests taught the natives several activities, such as carpentry, metal smelting and manufacturing musical instruments, among others. Lunch not included.
Santa Ana: It was founded in 1633 but, like other constructions of its kind, it had to be moved because of the attacks of the frontiersmen, who destroyed missions, plundered and captured natives to make them become slaves. Thus, in 1639 the mission was resettled by the river Parana. In 1817 it was destroyed, along with other reductions, by Paraguayan troops. Continue the travel to Puerto Iguazú.

Day 6: IGUAZU / ARGENTINIAN FALLS / IGUAZU (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. You start your visit of the Argentinean side of the Falls. Iguazú means "Big Water" in the Guarani language. The waterfalls of this place are a colossal wonder that must be experimented live and enjoyed with our five senses. They consist of 275 falls with a height of up to 70 meters. The Devil's Throat stretching out with walls of water 150 meters wide and 700 meters long, forming multiples rainbows. The Iguazú Falls, one of the most beautiful on the planet, forms a part of the 55.000 ha. of the Iguazú National Park, declared by UNESCO as being part of Humanity's Natural Heritage.
Back to Puerto Iguazu.

Day 7: IGUAZU / BRAZILIAN FALLS / FOZ DO IGUAZU / IN SALVADOR DE BAHIA (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure to the Brazilian side of the falls. These falls are shaped in a semicircle, is 2.700 meters wide and its waterfalls reach 72 meters. Depending on the river flow, the number of waterfalls can reach between 150 and 300. No one has visited the Falls without being amazed by their beauty.
Transfer to the Airport.
Flight to Salvador de Bahia.
Salvador, Bahia, beauties, and mysteries is to experience fascinating findings and unforgettable emotions. More words cannot justly describe the enchantment and magical aura that enfolds this city brought to life by its people, its saints, and its orixás. Those who have tasted the flavour of Salvador da Bahia know that it is impossible to resist the temptations the city offers its visitors - a lush tropical setting, a culture rich in popular traditions and festivals, and exciting history of bravery and adventure.

Day 8: SALVADOR (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. The rich baroque architecture is a permanent source of discoveries. Salvador’s rich religious past is responsible for the actual title of “The city of 365 churches”. The visitors will visit the Pelourinho – where slaves were punished, this plaza is now the setting for one of the largest and most charming groupings of Brazilian colonial architecture and a thriving cultural renaissance – the Igreja de Nosso Senhor do Bomfim and Igreja de São Francisco.
Departure for a panoramic visit of the Lower City: Just as the city is divided by its natural topography into two parts - the Upper City and the Lower City - Salvador's traditional buildings sit alongside modern constructions in perfect harmony. This fortuitous juxtaposition between colonial and futurist architecture lends a variety of backdrops with one common theme: colours in a myriad of hues.
Dinner at local restaurant with the show with folk demonstrations from a new interpretation to the contemporary language, where the African mythology is narrated through the mystical universe, focusing on aspects of religion and popular culture rooted in Brazilian ancestry. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: SALVADOR / RIO DE JANEIRO (B)

Transfer to the airport.
The spectacular beauty of Rio is compelling. This glamorous metropolis is kissed by the sun, scalloped by gorgeous wide beaches, and dotted with dramatic mountains. Yet its history marked it not as a playground but as an important port for the shipment of gold, gemstones, and coffee- and as a seat of colonial power. Rio's beaches define its culture: vibrant, joyful, beautiful, and every beach has its own flavour: from great lady Copacabana with its volleyball nets and outdoor cafés to the seductive Ipanema; from São Conrado with its hang gliders to the hip, expensive Barra da Tijuca.

Day 10: RIO DE JANEIRO (B)

Sugar Loaf’s visit. Take a cable car ride which will lead you to the top of Sugar Loaf with an amazing view of Guanabara Bay. Admiring Rio from the top, Rio de Janeiro is no doubt the most beautiful city in the world.

Day 11: RIO DE JANEIRO (B)

Corcovado’s visit. From any place of the city, the visitor can see the most beautiful postcard of Rio de Janeiro: Christ the Redeemer statue in the mountain of Corcovado, located at 710 meters above the sea level and inaugurated in 1931.
